Quantium’s Cloud Operations team is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. This team of experts works tirelessly to maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud environments, enabling our clients to leverage the full potential of data and analytics.

Business Applications Support Engineer role:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for the Service Desk team, providing BAU support and enhancements for corporate and business applications, both on-premise and SaaS.
  • Lead implementation and ongoing operational support for new business systems, while upskilling junior team members.
  • Proactively improve application portfolio, automate workflows, and stay ahead of industry trends to provide insights on future releases and updates.
  • Act as a key liaison between users, support areas, project teams, and vendors, providing expert application knowledge and escalation support.
  • Analyze, document, and improve business and technology processes, including regular reporting and implementation of application configurations and enhancements.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Quantium globally to understand requirements and facilitate solution delivery, while creating necessary documentation and plans.

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:  

  • Technical Expertise: 3+ years in the technology industry, with strong Jira and Confluence administration skills, understanding of web-based technologies, and experience in CRM and Accounting systems administration.
  • Project Management: Proficient in Agile project delivery, user and systems migrations, requirements gathering, documentation, and project planning.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer engagement and expectation management abilities, coupled with strong time management and communication skills.

Technical certifications and knowledge:

  • ITIL and Cloud certifications
  • Understanding of internet technologies (SSL, HTTPS, SFTP)
  • Experience with cloud migration and coordination

Project and stakeholder management:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities while handling BAU tasks
  • Strong stakeholder management and supplier engagement skills

Business and training acumen:

  • Business acumen and ability to provide technical training to colleagues
  • Experience with key business applications (e.g., Concur, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Dynamics 365)
