The Senior Data Scientist is a technical leadership role with direct accountability that delivers high quality end-to-end analytical support across multiple projects and industry practices within Health vertical from India. The Senior Data Scientist works with the internal stakeholders and the wider team to transform client questions and issues into analytical solutions.

How will you make an impact?

• Analytics Leadership & Quality: Lead project teams to ensure high-quality analytics, driving successful delivery of key projects.
• High-Quality Analytics Delivery: Execute comprehensive analytics processes, from data quality assessment to method selection, design & application, insights generation and visualization, ensuring impactful results.
• Efficient Data Transformation: Perform data exploration and write/test efficient code for data transformations, enhancing data processing efficiency.
• Production Pipeline Management: Plan, direct, and maintain a resilient production pipeline, ensuring sustainable and reliable analytics operations.
• Effective Communication & Task Management: Translate business needs into analytics solutions for diverse audiences, manage tasks among Data Scientists, and foster team development.

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:

• Technical Analytics Expertise: Over 5+ years of experience in a highly technical analytics environment, carrying out data analytics or data science work.
• Strong Coding Skills: Proficiency in Python or SQL.
• Leadership & Quality Management: Ability to oversee a team of Data Scientists, manage analytics quality, and deliver technical tasks on key projects.
• Large Dataset Handling: Experience in working with large datasets to solve commercial business problems.
• Collaboration Tools Proficiency: Experience working with tools like Jira, GIT, and Confluence.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders, delivering against projects, tasks, and activities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Technical Analytics Knowledge: Including data preparation, feature engineering, foundational analytics concepts, model development, and model training.
• Pipeline Design & Maintenance: Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for ETL processes and real-time data streaming.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Familiarity with these technologies.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working with other Data Scientists, considering the larger solution and team dynamics.
