Responsibilities & Activities include:

  • Assist with Go-to-Market Activities: Collaborate with commercial leads to support lead generation efforts. This includes reaching out to potential clients, scheduling meetings, and helping establish initial connections.

  • Create Client-Focused Materials: Contribute to the development of business development materials tailored to specific clients. You’ll work on pitch decks and proposals, ensuring they effectively communicate our value proposition.

  • Sales Process Support: Learn and execute sales processes under the guidance of senior team members. Your role will involve tracking progress, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across marketing, product development, and customer success. Your input will help align sales initiatives with broader company goals.

  • Tender Response Assistance: Assist in preparing responses to tender requests. This involves understanding requirements, gathering relevant information, and contributing to the submission.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates on the sales pipeline, including forecasts and performance metrics. You’ll learn to analyze data and communicate insights effectively.

  • Pipeline Management: Take ownership of managing the pipeline for specific products. This includes tracking leads, nurturing relationships, and ensuring timely follow-ups.

  • Client Onboarding Support: Help onboard new clients by providing training and guidance. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition for clients.

  • Data Interpretation and Communication: Learn to extract insights from complex data sets. Translate these insights into clear, concise messages for various audiences.

 

Experience and education required:

  • A basic understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is valuable. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and apply these skills.
  • Project management/delivery skills valued
  • An ability to work proactively and leverage available resources to problem solve
  • Experience working with stakeholders (both internal and ideally externally) up to a Senior level
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively sell ideas and explain complex concepts
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects
  • While not essential, any exposure to business-to-business (B2B) sales would be beneficial. However, it’s perfectly fine if you’re new to this area!
