As Head of Tax, you'll be instrumental in shaping our global tax strategy while navigating the complexities of rapid international expansion and AI transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll lead a team and own the entire tax function globally. This role uniquely combines strategic leadership with hands on execution, offering the rare opportunity to transform traditional tax processes through AI while managing sophisticated multinational tax structures. You'll be the architect of our tax framework as we scale globally and commercialise cutting-edge AI products.

How You'll Create Impact

• Architect our global tax framework: Design and implement tax compliance strategies across Australia, US, India, UK, South Africa, and New Zealand, ensuring excellence while navigating the complexities of multinational operations in the technology sector
• Drive strategic transformation: Lead critical projects and process automation initiatives, leveraging AI tools like Claude to revolutionise how tax functions operate in a modern organisation
• Enable intelligent decision-making: Deliver half-year and full-year tax effect accounting, while providing strategic insights that shape our expansion into new markets and AI product commercialisation
• Build exceptional capability: Energise and develop a high-performing team of three professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, positivity, and excellence while transforming past challenges into future strengths

• Big 4 trained professional with subsequent commercial / in-house corporate experience
• Proven expertise managing tax for multinational operations, ideally in technology or organisations with significant people mobility
• Demonstrated success in process improvement with tangible transformation outcomes
• Experience managing teams and stakeholders at all levels, including board-level presentations
• Strong project management capabilities with ability to balance multiple strategic initiatives
• Self-sufficient operator who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Australian tax expertise essential, with knowledge of US, UK, and Asian jurisdictions highly regarded
