Business Intelligence Team

As Quantium continues its transformative journey to create a better, more insightful world, we are entering an exciting new phase marked by significant investments in our core systems, processes, and capabilities. As we continue this journey, we are thrilled to be introducing a newly formed Business Intelligence team which will become a key central capability for managing and utilising our internal data to help drive informed decision making across the business. This team will be responsible for maintaining and making ongoing improvements to our corporate data ecosystem and for developing and improving reporting and dashboards that leverage the rich data that is now being housed in our data warehouse. 

Financial Systems Specialist

The Senior Systems Accountant will be responsible for providing technical SME expertise and support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications (D365, Kantata, Anaplan). This role involves collaborating with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure the successful deployment and utilisation of these applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise. The Senior Systems Accountant serves as a subject matter expert on the software applications they support, offering guidance and training to end-users to maximise application functionality and optimise their workflow.

How will you make an impact?

• Application Implementation: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand their requirements, goals and workflows. Work with an Engineer to configure, customise, and implement changes to meet those needs effectively.
• Technical Support: Provide technical SME support and assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems related to the software applications.
• Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver documentation to educate end-users on application functionalities, best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Application Integration: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain integration of applications with the data warehouse.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities on software applications, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Application Scope: Initial focus on D365, Kantata and budgeting and forecasting tool.
• Process Improvement: Examining existing processes across the Finance function and introducing process improvements using technology.

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team

• Experience in implementing, configuring and supporting software applications.
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
• CA/CPA/CIMA qualification
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft D365
• Knowledge of Kantata, Anaplan and Concur highly regarded.
• Collaborative style and structured communicator (both written and verbal)
• Stakeholder and project management experience
• Problem solving and analytics skills.
• Strong customer service orientation
