How will you make an impact?

• Re-platform at scale: Play a key role in re-platforming our flagship product, with a cloud-first strategy to build and deploy the product across multiple cloud providers
• Shape what we build: Influence what we build and how we build it within our cross-functional team of product managers, designers, analysts, testers, and engineers
• AI-powered development: Leverage cutting-edge AI tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI assistants to accelerate development and enhance code quality
• Build team capability: Strengthen the engineering skill of the team whilst developing your own "T-shaped" expertise across our stack
• DevOps culture: Embrace DevOps as a culture - from CI/CD pipeline improvements to production environment management
• Technical excellence: Write well-tested code, perform thorough code reviews, and contribute to core services and libraries
• Customer focus: Support our customer engagement team to ensure our production environment delivers value seamlessly

The superpowers you'll be bringing to the team:

• Technical proficiency: Experience designing, building, and maintaining web services in a typed Object-Oriented language, with APIs you've written currently in production
• Full-stack mindset: While we value full-stack capability, we're particularly interested in engineers with strong front-end skills (React, TypeScript) who are eager to work across the entire stack
• Cloud experience: Hands-on experience with any major cloud provider (GCP experience would be particularly valuable as we expand in that direction)
• Architecture expertise: Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, concurrency patterns, and data structures
• Data skills: SQL and schema modelling experience - essential for working with our multi-tens-of-billion-row datasets in Snowflake
• Modern practices: Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and enthusiasm for integrating these into your workflow
• Collaborative approach: Ability to advocate ideas constructively in architecture discussions and passion for mentoring others
