The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst serves as a strategic finance business partner to Quantium's Consumer and Retail business units, providing critical financial insights that drive profitable growth and operational excellence. Working closely with Business Unit teams across the organisation, you will provide financial guidance throughout project lifecycles, support strategic planning initiatives, and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimisation.

How You'll Create Impact

• Lead monthly revenue close activities for the Consumer Vertical, including revenue recognition, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and adjusting entries
• Build and maintain revenue forecasting models, delivering monthly variance analysis between actuals and budget with actionable insights
• Serve as the financial business partner to Non-Woolworths Retail and Consumer Sales, Operations, Marketing and Product teams, evaluating P&L impact of strategic initiatives
• Design financial models and dashboards to track key business metrics including product and client profitability, sales KPIs, and T&E operating expenses
• Drive continuous improvement of existing reporting and finance processes through automation, standardisation, and enhanced controls

Required Experience And Capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• CA/CPA qualification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field
• Experience in financial modelling, P&L management and analysis
• Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences
• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, BI tools) and data visualisation platforms
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial analysis tools
• Experience in FMCG, technology, consulting or professional services industry preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
