Role summary
The role sits within our driven, passionate, and collaborative FMCG team. In this role, you will engage with suppliers to understand their needs and provide data-led insights and recommendations to key business questions around topics such as promotions, category, range, marketing, market trends, and overall strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our early successes and the culture that we are creating as we break new ground in the US.
How will you make an impact?
- Supporting our go-to-market (GTM) team to win new business through identifying opportunities, building relationships with prospective FMCG clients
- Developing sales collateral, communications and processes: you’re on the front line with clients, so you will see what works – bring this back and help our team to raise the bar
- Manage the sales pipeline
- Analyze trends and results to optimize growth for clients
- Use insights to present compelling stories that deliver tangible commercial value
The superpowers you will bring to the team:
- Experience in an insights or new business development role in the FMCG industry, either agency or client side
- Understanding of how FMCG companies can harness data to shape strategy and improve performance
- A desire to move into business development role
- An ability to work proactively and leverage available resources to problem solve
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (both internal and ideally externally)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects
- Project management/delivery skills
- Experience with using and maintaining a CRM (HubSpot / Salesforce etc
