We're a team of smart, passionate people who focus on executing a roadmap of stimulating, impactful projects, combining our technical and commercial superpowers to transform the global retail industry through analytics at scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join our wiqConsumer team as a Senior Analyst, where you'll lead a small team of analysts whilst collaborating closely with consultants to transform client questions into analytical solutions, with a focus on building analytical innovation, driving automation and productisation.

How will you make an impact?

• Guide and develop a small team of technical analysts (1-3 direct reports), including performance support, capability development, and career progression
• Ensure accountability for analytics quality and successful delivery of key projects with measurable client outcomes
• Collaborate with consultants to maximise client ROI through innovative analytical solutions and technical expertise
• Drive automation and productisation of analytical solutions, transforming client questions into scalable analytical solutions
• Guide team through operational changes and drive adoption of new methodologies and technologies

The superpowers you'll be bringing to the team:

• Technical expertise: 5+ years' experience in a highly technical analytics environment with strong coding experience in SQL and at least one of Python/R/Scala
• Real-world experience: Experience working with customer and sales transactional datasets solving commercial business problems
• People development skills: Experience in supervising and mentoring team members, with capability in guiding performance and supporting team development
• Advanced analytical mindset: Advanced knowledge of technical analytics disciplines including predictive modelling and machine learning techniques
• Business savvy: Well-developed commercial understanding to assess business needs and solution impacts, with experience translating technical insights into business value
• Strong foundation: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or related discipline
